These terms govern your use of ARIOUS NEWS. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing or using ARIOUS NEWS (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

ARIOUS is an evidence-first news platform. It provides a feed of reports, trust scoring, community verification, reality reconstruction, a reality map and related features. We may add, change or remove features over time.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use ARIOUS. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. User content and conduct

You are responsible for what you submit. You agree not to:

  • Submit fabricated, manipulated or knowingly false reports, or impersonate others.
  • Post unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing or harmful content.
  • Attempt to manipulate verification, trust scores or the community.
  • Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

You retain ownership of the content you create. By submitting content, you grant ARIOUS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

5. Verification and trust scores

Trust scores and reconstructions are good-faith assessments derived from available evidence and community signals. They express our confidence — they are not a guarantee of absolute truth. Use your own judgement and consult multiple sources for important decisions.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and the ARIOUS name, is owned by ARIOUS NEWS and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.

7. Third-party content and sources

ARIOUS aggregates and references third-party sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of third-party material, and references do not imply endorsement.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARIOUS NEWS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these terms or to protect the Service and its users. You may stop using ARIOUS and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version; continued use after changes means you accept them.
